Paper Excellence curtails Crofton, B.C., paper facility for 2 weeks
On Thursday (9-8-22), Paper Excellence announced that beginning this Saturday, September 10 it would be curtailing production at its Crofton, BC, paper facility for two weeks. As a result, 95 employees will be temporarily laid off during the curtailment period.
According to the company, the curtailment will coincide with scheduled annual maintenance of utility assets. The outage is expected reduce the site exposure to higher energy costs through this period.
