Millar Western to Temporarily Curtail Quesnel River Pulp Mill

Millar Western Forest Products will temporarily curtail operations at its Quesnel River Pulp mill for an estimated two months, the Prince George Citizen reported (8-12-26).

The curtailment is expected to begin in September and last until early November, affecting an estimated 90 workers.

The move follows the recent closure of Canfor’s Northwood Pulp Mill, which affected 300 employees in Prince George.
