Canfor Pulp Products Announces Temporary Curtailment at Its Intercontinental Pulp Mill

Canfor Pulp Products Inc. announced on Monday (10-17-22) a temporary curtailment of its Intercontinental Pulp Mill facility due to the lack of available economic fiber in British Columbia. The curtailment began immediately following the scheduled annual two-week turnaround maintenance that began of September 24, 2022.

Regular operations are expected to resume on Monday, October 24, 2022. During the four weeks of downtime, Canfor Pulp’s production output was reduced by approximately 28,000 tons of market kraft pulp.
