Elk Creek Forest Products has been named the exclusive sales agent for Buse Mill Company. The partnership comes as Buse Mill Company reopens under its new name, following its transition from Buse Timber & Sales in 2024. As the mill resumes production, Elk Creek Forest Products will oversee the sales of Buse’s lumber products.
“We are thrilled to partner with Buse as they restart production,” said Brett Slaughter, President of Elk Creek Forest Products.”
Based in Everett, Washington, since 1946, Buse has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality lumber products. The mill is poised to resume its production of FOHC timbers, transmission crossarms, industrial clears, and structural lumber in the first week of April or sooner and anticipates manufacturing 2.5–3.0 million board feet per month.
Elk Creek Forest Products will be responsible for managing all sales and distribution efforts, ensuring that Buse Mill Company is well-positioned to rebuild and expand its customer relationships while meeting the increasing demand for lumber in the market.
