Canadian Sawmill Production and Shipments Rise in February

On Monday, Statistics Canada (StatCan) reported that lumber production rose 8.9% month-over-month to 4,352.4 thousand cubic meters in February. Year-over-year, production was up 10.8%.

Sawmills shipped 4,195.4 thousand cubic meters of lumber. This up 7.8% month-over-month and up 16.0% year-over-year.
