Canadian Sawmill Production and Shipments Decline in July

On Monday, Statistics Canada (StatCan) reported that Canadian sawmills produced 3,546,400 m3 of lumber in July, an 8.6% decrease from June and down 6.7% from July 2025.

Lumber shipments totaled 3,728,900 m3 in July, a 10.3% decrease from June and down 7.8% from July 2025.
