On Friday, Statistics Canada (StatCan) reported that Canadian sawmills produced 3,832.4 thousand m3 of lumber in July, a 4.1% decrease from June but up 4.1% from July 2024.
Lumber shipments totaled 4,055.9 thousand m3 in July, down 4.3% month-over-month but 4.9% higher than a year earlier.
