The University of Idaho’s Moscow Campus Central Credit Union Arena Features an All Idaho Engineered Wood Collaboration

The Central Credit Union Arena on the University of Idaho’s Moscow campus is set to become a unique showcase of the Idaho’s wood industry, as well as the home of the University of Idaho’s “Vandals” men’s and women’s basketball court and event center. Efforts began this week to place more than 442 tons of glulam beams and columns in the 62,000-square-foot engineered-wood arena. Dennis Becker, dean of the College of Natural resources summed it by saying, “The entire industry in Idaho is coming together in amazing ways to complete this one-of-a-kind construction. Showcasing Idaho’s wood is great for industry, and it serves as a living laboratory for our students as we train them to be the next wood-industry leaders.”
