US Existing-Home Mortgage Payments Post First Year-Over-Year Increase Since October 2025
Redfin reported that the median monthly existing US home mortgage payment posted its first year-over-year increase since October 2025 during the four-week period ending June 28. The seasonally adjusted median payment was $2,633 at a 6.49% mortgage rate, up 1.4% year-over-year.
The median existing-home sale price rose 2.5% year-over-year to a record high of $408,838.
Redfin also reported that US pending home sales rose 0.4% week-over-week and 2.0% year-over-year.
