Mortgage Applications Up 7.2% from Previous Week

According to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Weekly Mortgage Application Survey, for the week ending 24^th January 2020, which included an allowance for MLK Day, mortgage applications increased 7.2% on a SAAR from the previous week. On an unadjusted basis, the Index decreased <-1%>compared with the previous week. The Refinance Index increased 8% from the previous week and is 146% higher than the same week one year ago.
