Mortgage Applications Shrink <-1.2%> from Previous Week

According to data from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Weekly Mortgage Application Survey, for the week ending 17^th January 2020, mortgage applications decreased <-1.2%> on a SAAR from the previous week. On an unadjusted basis, the Index increased 0.4%compared with the week before. The Refinance Index dropped <-2%> from the previous week, but was 116% higher than the same week one year ago.
