Fannie Mae Home Purchase Sentiment Index Declines in June

On Monday, Fannie Mae published the results of its June National Housing Survey (NHS). This report includes the Home Purchase Sentiment Index (HPSI), a measure of consumer sentiment toward housing.

In June, the HPSI declined 3.7 points to a reading of 69.8. Year-over-year, the index was 2.8 points lower.
