Canadian Home Sales Increase 5.9% in February

Driven by accelerated sales in the Greater Toronto Area, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is reporting that Canadian homes sales increased 5.9% in February, when compared to sales in January. According to the CREA, actual sales, not seasonally adjusted, rose 26.9% from a year earlier, while the group’s Home Price Index was up 5.9% from February last year.
