Canadian home sales and prices up in August, real estate group says
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is reporting that Canadian homes sale set another new all-time record high in August rising 6.2% above July 2020. Year-over-year, CREA reports that actual not seasonally adjusted homes sales rose 33.5%. At the same time CREA’s Home Price Index was up 9.4% year-over-year and up 1.7% from July 2020.
