Explosion reported at ARAUCO in Grayling
The Arauco particleboard facility in Grayling Michigan experienced an explosion and fire around 10:30 AM Thursday 1-30-20, in one of the plants kiln drier systems. The 820,000 square-foot facility is the largest particleboard plant in the world. According to the Crawford County Emergency Manager, the fire was quickly brought under control and there appears to be only slight damage to the building. A fire firefighter suffered minor injuries, there were no employee injuries.
