Collins Pine to Sell Its Klamath Falls, OR, Particleboard and Engineered Wood Siding Facilities to SWISS KRONO
On Friday, Collins Pine Company announced that the SWISS KRONO Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Collins Pine Company’s particleboard and engineered wood siding manufacturing facilities located in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
The acquisition marks a strategic expansion for SWISS KRONO in North America, complementing its existing operations in Barnwell, South Carolina, and building its presence in the Western United States.
Collins said the decision to divest the Klamath Falls facilities supports its strategic focus on its core business of timberlands management and softwood and hardwood lumber manufacturing.
Both Collins and SWISS KRONO are family-owned companies with deep roots in the wood products industry and a shared dedication to sustainable practices. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Financial terms of the deal will not be disclosed. Other Collins business units are not affected by this transaction.
