Tapani Pahkasalo
Tapani Pahkasalo is a Partner at Dasos Capital and a natural capital investment professional with extensive forestry field experience across Europe, the Americas, and emerging markets. At Dasos, he is engaged in fundraising, due diligence, deal sourcing, and sustainable forest asset management.
Dasos Capital is an investment advisor to private equity funds investing in sustainable forests and natural capital. Assets under management total EUR 1.5 billion. Dasos is an Alternative Investment Fund Manager authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority in Finland.
Prior to joining Dasos, Tapani worked for a Central European private equity manager as a Director of Timberland Portfolio Management and as a VP for a timberland fund. He started his career in forest industry consulting, working with investment strategies and feasibility studies and had a leading role in asset valuations.
Tapani holds an MSc in Forest Economics from the University of Helsinki.
