Waylon Walker
Waylon has severed as Senior Vice President of McCoy’s Building Supply since December 2017, bringing over 32 years of leadership and operational experience in the retail building materials industry. In this role, he oversees sales, operations, merchandising, distribution, and manufacturing.
He first joined McCoy’s in September 1992 as a management candidate and has since held a variety of roles, including lumberyard worker, sales associate, truck driver, assistant manager, loss prevention specialist, store manager, regional manager, and Vice President of Operations.
Waylon attended Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, and earned a Master Certificate in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business. Originally from a small rural town in South Texas near Corpus Christi, he is married to his high school sweetheart, April. They have three grown children and three grandchildren.
