Sean Tighe
Sean Tighe is Senior Vice President of Purchasing for Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation (LMC), based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, a position he has held since early 2020. Prior to his current post, he served as Vice President of LMC’s Lumber Division, and earlier as Purchasing Manager for Commodity Lumber.
Sean joined LMC in 1994 as a lumber buyer and has since traded every lumber species in the North American wood basket. He began his career in the industry working with builders and contractors at an independent retail lumberyard in New Jersey.
Sean holds an MS from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Susquehanna University. He resides in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
