As General Manager of Suifenhe Friendship Wood Industry Group, Cece is responsible for the operations and management of the family business which was founded in 1995.

Suifenhe Friendship Wood Industry Group’s core business is processing, import/export, wholesales, and trading sawn timber and logs. The group has 10 subsidiaries throughout China and one entity in New Zealand — all mainly focused on timber trade and logistics services.

The group is a partner with the Suifenhe Guolin Wood Industry Park Investment Company and China United Forestry Co., Ltd. Both companies are subsidiaries of China National Forestry Group, the largest state-owned enterprise in China focused on the forest industry.

Suifenhe Friendship Wood Industry Group has established processing facilities in the Primorsky Krai region of Russia, the Suifenhe 60,000 m3 factory, and the Dalian furniture factory and Taicang processing factory (subsequently sold). The group imports mostly softwood logs and sawn timber from Russia, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, North America, South America, New Zealand, and Australia. Its wood products are planed timber, laminated timber, flooring, furniture, and building materials.

The company’s main office is located in Taicang, with other offices in Shanghai; Suifenhe, Heilongjiang; Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia; Erlianhaote, Inner Mongolia; Qingdao, Shandong; Chengdu, Silchuan; and Dongguan, Guangdong. Nationwide, staff total 100–120 persons. Warehouse facilities are located in Taicang, Jiangsu; Qingdao, Shandong; Dongguan, Guangdong; Suifenhe, Heilongjiang; Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia; and Chengdu, Sichuan.

Under Cece’s management, Suifenhe Friendship Wood Industry Group has expanded its footprint with further processing in Taicang, Jiangsu province and wholesales/trading in Sichuan province and Guangdong province; developed a new joint venture company, China United Forestry Co., Ltd; and developed new supply from Finland, Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine.

Cece has spoken at a number of key industry events throughout China organized by the China Timber and Wood Products Distribution Association, China’s largest timber association with over 3,000 active members across the country. She has also conducted market reports for numerous international, private, and listed companies.

Cece earned her master’s degree in international marketing from Newcastle University and bachelor’s degree in art design from Communication University of China, Nanjing. She has completed the EMBA E-commercial business course in Beijing and the management of general business course at Shanghai Fudan University. Cece is also a qualified yoga teacher.
