Samuel is a construction analytics professional and a survey expert. At FEA, he supports market research projects focusing on wood use in nonresidential construction and market potential for innovative materials such as fiber-based insulation.
Using data analytics, database management, visualization, and modeling techniques, Samuel’s work covers a broad range of wood markets including mass timber construction, off-site construction, and other specialized markets.
Samuel has also carried out surveys and interviews with builders, architects, and engineers.
Samuel holds a bachelor’s degree in timber engineering from Laval University with a specialization in wood construction. He also completed a master’s degree in wood science, where he first got involved in market research in nonresidential markets for wood siding.
