FEA has been involved in organizing conferences in China since 2011 and we have witnessed the consumption dynamics of softwood in the Chinese market over the last 15 years. Additionally, FEA has published the China Bulletin (a monthly newsletter) since 2009. Starting in June 2025, this publication has officially been rebranded as the Asia Bulletin, expanding its coverage to include Vietnam, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and China.

In recent years, the situation has changed for both the domestic and export markets in China. We have learned that there are more and more Chinese companies and international softwood suppliers who are interested in knowing more about the Vietnam market. This includes better understanding the market potential for imported softwood logs and lumber. Therefore, we would like to organize such a forum in Vietnam to provide a platform to discuss the softwood trade and consumption in Vietnam. We expect the participants will be from China, global suppliers, Chinese investors in Vietnam, and local Vietnamese companies.
