Pat Groenhout is an experienced forest industry executive recognized across the sector for his high quality strategic and innovative approach to complex challenges. Pat has held executive and CEO roles in some of Australia’s largest forestry companies, and he has a deep understanding of the entire forest and forest products supply chain.
Pat teams his specialist forest industry expertise with recognized expertise in stakeholder engagement and networking, as well as providing organizational development solutions and advice—ranging from leadership coaching to development of organizational strategy and business planning. He is a skilled facilitator with a sound understanding of the policy, strategic, and commercial imperatives of the forestry, agribusiness, and natural resources supply chains.
Pat has held responsibility for overseeing the management of up to 180,000 hectares of forest plantations—ranging from small farm forestry plantations to large institutionally owned estates—and broadacre cropping operations. He has also held responsibility for supply chain management for up to 3.6 million tonnes per annum of harvested wood products in key forestry regions of Australia.
