Carl Dobler joined Interfor in 2016, and he currently serves as Vice President, Sales & Marketing West. His responsibilities include sales, logistics, and administration across the Western division; export sales, logistics, administration, and documentation on a company-wide basis; all specialty products, including western red cedar and mass timber; and the foreign office in Japan.
Carl has more than 30 years of experience in the wood products business in sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, and logistics. Prior to joining Interfor, he worked for Weldwood of Canada, International Paper, West Fraser, and Taiga Building Products.
Carl is on the board or an active committee member of several wood products associations.
Carl holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing & Economics) from Simon Fraser University and a Global Strategic Management Certificate from Harvard Business School.
