Shabnam Sanaei
Shabnam has a wide range of experience in research, product development, and business development of forestry-based bioproducts. Currently, as Director of Bio-Innovation and Technology, she is part of a team that is leading Canfor to develop its residuals valorization strategy and bioproducts business.
In her previous roles, Shabnam established a systematic approach for corporate strategic decision-making to identify and recommend the most commercially attractive bioproduct opportunities. She was also implicated in all aspects of developing innovative forestry based bioproducts, from concept to launch, including go-to-market strategy design and customer relationship management.
Shabnam holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Polytechnique Montreal.
