Seven Sun
Qihao “Seven” Sun graduated with a Bachelor of Agriculture from the University of Melbourne specializing in agribusiness/forestry-related business and has made a career in the Australian forestry industry. He has wide experience in the demand and supply of forest products, business and marketing strategies, developing strong relationships with suppliers and buyers, and project initiation and management.
Currently, Seven is the Export Project Manager at China Forest Products (Singapore). As a large, comprehensive enterprise, CFPC plays an important role in the linkage of timber production and sales, and it has served as the national timber trade management company for many years. The core business focuses on securing overseas forest resources; importing and exporting timber, forest products, paper and paper products, and coal; and providing storage and logistics services.
As the Regional Manager, Seven orchestrates, leads, and participates in an expansive range of CFPC’s global projects, with an acute focus on the Australian and Vietnamese landscapes. His forward-thinking approach aims to diversify and deepen market reach, tapping into both mainstream and niche segments for a wide array of log and lumber species. With a particular expertise in the burgeoning Chinese, Indian, and Vietnamese markets, he continually seeks innovative strategies to further the industry’s objectives.
