Blair Whitney
Blair is the owner and CEO of QP Timber US, LLC, a lumber sales company representing several European sawmill companies. He has been involved in export and import markets around the world for 35 years.
Blair founded QP Timber US together with his Partner Robert Svensson, who is the Chairman of QP Timber UK. QP Timber US has four employees in their Portland, OR, office, one in Washington, DC, and one in Annapolis, MD, as well as three employees in the UK office that are dedicated to the company’s US market activities. QP Timber markets and sells 500,000–600,000 m3 of European SPF annually.
Blair is an Oregon native and lives in Beaverton with his wife Meredith and their two sons, Nicholas and Chandler.
